Perfect Quick Biscuits
Ingredients
Dry Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups heritage whole wheat flour
1 Tbsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
Wet Ingredients:
1/3 cup oil
2/3 cup water
Directions
Mix dry ingredients together.
Ad and mix wet ingredients until just moistened.
Turn the dough onto a floured board or countertop and gently pat out to 1" thick. Cut with a glass (dip the rim in flour first), biscuit cutter, cookie cutter, or use a knife to slice dough into squares or diamonds.
Bake at 425 degrees for 20 minutes or until tops are just starting to brown.
