Double Chocolate Chip Cookies
These are perfect freezer box cookies. Place dough into a freezer bag. Press out air and close. Then squish it into a 6x8 inch rectangle and pop in your freezer. Whenever you want a cookie or 3 just tear off whatever you want from your freezer bag and you’ll have decadence in ten minutes anytime!
If you prefer coconut oil... substitute 1 for 1
Ingredients
Wet:
Sugar 1 cup
Butter 1.25 sticks or 5oz
Vanilla extract(optional) 1 tsp
1 egg
Dry: Whisk together
200g or 7 oz whole wheat flour ground very fine
1/3 cup coco powder
1/4 tsp Baking soda
1/4 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
Chips
1 cup of semisweet chips
1 cup of white chocolate chips
Directions
Pre-heat oven to 375
Wet
Melt butter and stir in sugar. when cool enough(warm not hot) add vanilla and egg.
Combine dry and wet buy folding with a spatula. Add the chips when it is about 2/3 the way mixed. Stir until flour streaks are mostly gone.
Drop you cookies onto a cookie sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes or until done.
