Oriental Meatballs

Ingredients

1 egg
1 T soy sauce
1 t sugar
1 lb ground pork or beef or mixture of both
1/3 cup green onions - minced
1 cup cabbage - finely minced
1/4 cup flour
2 cloves garlic - minced
salt / pepper to taste
Oil

Directions

Beat eggs soy sauce and sugar. Add meat, onions, and cabbage and mix thoroughly. Add flour and salt / pepper. If to wet add a bit more flour. Form into 1" balls. Fry in very hot oil that is at least 1" deep. Drain on paper towels. Meatballs may be prepared in advance and refrigerated or frozen. Reheat just before serving.
