Merangue

To top pies, add as layers to cakes, or to make puffs of cooked merangue

Ingredients

4 egg whites
1/2 C sugar
1/4 tsp cream of tarter
1/2 tsp vanilla

Directions

Preheat oven to 325 degrees

beat egg whites with cream of tarter
when soft peaks develope slowly add sugar
When it is glossy add vanilla
