Popcorn Candy Crisp

Mom's recipe

Ingredients

1 cup Sugar
1/2 cup Molasses
1/2 cup Water
2 T. Butter
1/2 T. Vinegar
1/2 tsp. Baking soda
2 quarts Popped corn

Directions

Dissolve butter, sugar, and molasses in water. Add vinegar and boil to 270°F (cracks in cold water). Remove from heat and add baking soda, stir and pour over popcorn which has been placed in a very large saucepan. Stir until every kernel is coated.
