Bread Pudding
Ingredients
6 cups dry bread broken into small pieces
4 cups milk
4 heaping Tablespoons brown sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 heaping teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 cup raisins
1/4 stick butter (optional)
1 teaspoon rum flavor (optional)
Directions
Preheat oven to 350
Put bread pieces in 10" X 10" oven safe dish
Sprinkle raisins on top of bread
Warm milk in saucepan to almost boiling
Add sugar, cinnamon, rum flavor, butter and vanilla to milk
Stir till sugar is dissolved
Pour hot milk mixture over bread
Bake for approx. 20-25 minutes (or until crust on top)
