Molasses Puff Candy

Ingredients

1 cup sugar
1 cup dark corn syrup
1 T white vinegar
1 T baking soda

Directions

In a heavy saucepan combine sugar, syrup, and vinegar. Cook over medium heat stirring intil sugar is dissolved. Cook without stirringuntil it is brittle in cold water and 300 degrees F. Remove from heat. Quickly stir in soda and mix well then pour into 9"X9"X2" buttered pan. DO NOT SPREAD.
